Looking at some of the more popular Firefox Add-Ons after installing the new Firefox 4 Beta Version 9 (which is awesome by the way, more on that later), I came across Stretch Clock. This little add-on is a great way to remind yourself to take a break and stretch for a minute. It’s like a little zen moment in your day, chilling on the side of one of the most beautiful areas of the Pacific Northwest that you’ll ever see, with a cool looking fellow that appears to have just stepped out of a Blues Brothers movie or from an office building full of high tech hipsters, a place I would love to work. I am digging those sideburns!
I love the understated humor in these videos, is it me or are these funny? They make me laugh and get a good stretch in once an hour, or whenever I click the “stretch now” button. So if your looking for a great way to remind yourself to get in a good stretch (and a good laugh) while your working at your computer, this is a good choice.

If you have not checked out the Firefox 4.9 Beta version, I suggest you give it a shot. It’s a huge improvement over the last version and it seems that many of the many of the most popular add-ons for developers are already available for version 4+. The skin on this new version is super smooth and very well done. It looks so much better than the previous versions, the tabs are slick, clean and easy to rearrange.
The new Tab Groups feature is awesome and let’s you organize your browser windows into groups, so you can have say 5 browser windows open for one project, then 4 others for another project, you can easily toggle back and forth between these “groups” of browser tabs, allowing you to keep focused on the task at hand.
If you install this new version of Firefox 4 Beta 9 (or have Widows 7, Vista or iGoogle) then make sure you grab the Firefox Add-On Stretch Clock, it’s funny and after all, a good stretch while your working will make you more productive! BTW, checkout the about page for some cool information about the videos and the guys behind them, they can rock out the house too!
